Query SDKGPT programmatically — public REST endpoints today, MCP server access in early rollout.
Getting started
The API exposes the same data the site shows: which SDKs an app carries, how the market splits, what changed recently. Public endpoints are plain HTTPS GET and return JSON — no account needed.
Try it now — global search across apps, SDKs, and companies:

Authentication
Browse-tier endpoints are open. Pro endpoints — full result lists, exports, saved searches — expect your Supabase session token as a Bearer credential:

MCP server
SDKGPT runs an MCP server so AI assistants — Claude, Cursor, your own agents — can query SDK intelligence as native tools instead of raw HTTP.
Tools exposed
- search_apps — filter the app catalog by SDK mix, category, and scale
- get_app_sdks — an app's full SDK inventory, with the matched evidence
- get_sdk_market_share — category rankings and penetration
- list_recent_sdks — newest confirmed detections

Rate limits & quotas
The fair-use rules as enforced today:
- Anonymous calls: single-item lookups only — batch queries (e.g. several bundle_ids at once) return 403.
- Signed-in free accounts: open browsing, combo queries capped at the first 10 results.
- Pro: full pagination, CSV/JSON export, saved searches, and higher query ceilings.
- Directory and market-share responses carry cache headers — treat them as hourly snapshots.
